My Story

Hi!

I’m Sierra, a boy mom of 3 (plus 2 bonus sons), baker, cookbook collector, long time food blog supporter, coffee, ice cream, and popcorn enthusiast, and inconsistent fitness/health girly (ahh!).

I’ve been baking since I was an adolescent. My love of baking was inspired by my Grandmother Lillian who was the original “Jackie of All Trades”. She did it all, cooking, baking, sewing, and managing a household of a gazillion kids. All so effortlessly might I add. My grandmother bought me my first cookbook before I was even a teenager and I have collected them ever since. While I may not be in my effortless era (more-so overstimulated mom era), my hope is to create a place to share some of my favorite cookbooks and actually use them instead of them collecting dust and taking up space. Ha ha! Additionally I wanted to create a welcoming environment where my friends who secretly ask questions felt they could go to without some judgmental influencer making them feel they should know something. We can all learn something new every day. Where’s the fun in knowing it all? I also desired a space to share my random innermost crazy thoughts, so here we are!
